Responsive web design starts at the PSD graphic, way before it’s even executed in to html/ CSS etc. I design my websites with responsiveness in mind. All my photoshop designs contain grid wireframes which can easily be coded to support all desktop and mobile devices. Plus, in addition to providing the regular web page graphic, I will include mobile (iPad, iPhone) versions of the PSD design, upon request.

WHAT IS A RESPONSIVE WEB SITE?

A web site that adjust itself (response) to which ever the screen / device it’s been viewed. It’s not just scaling up and down of the layout, but re positioning and re arranging everything on the page depending on which device it’s been viewed.

Ex: A horizontal 10 item menu is nice for a desktop web site. But for a smart phone, a vertical drop-down suites much better.

If A products page display on 4 per row on desktop, making the page responsive, the same page can be coded to show 1 or 2 product per row on a smart phone

WHY WOULD YOU NEED A MOBILE SITE?

The number of users who browse the web from either their mobile phone or tablet is increasing day by day. In some markets the number of users who use the phone is much higher than the number of users who use a computer. Studies has shown that even the average user browse the internet on phone more more with comparison past years.
